About
Stephanie Silvinson
As a therapist I provide a safe space for you to be heard, understood, and validated without judgment. I believe each person is unique and therefore requires an individualized approach to therapy. I consider it an honor to hear a person's story and to help them pursue their goals toward healing and a sense of well-being.

I specialize in working with individuals who have a history of trauma and abuse.

Experience
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Prior to opening my own practice in 2018, I worked for 9 years as a therapist at a non-profit agency dedicated to serving those facing homelessness, domestic violence or abuse, and sexual assault or abuse. During that time I facilitated many groups including those dedicated to survivors of sexual abuse and assault, survivors of domestic violence, and parenting. I was the children's counselor for families at the domestic violence shelter and made it a priority to meet with the families to address concerns and schedule services as needed.
